4D Executive Directors manage the operational activities of 4D International across each of our global regions. Each 4D Executive Director has bottom-line authority within their respective business-units and report to the Director of Global Operations and the company President jointly.
Responsibilities include:
•Develop and maintain a multi-level client business relationship that remains commercially viable and yields references, referrals, and additional client engagements or assignments while actively managing your region and the associated business-units.
•Direct the regional client engagement activity, through the coaching and mentoring of 4D Regional Directors, 4D Client Engagement Managers, and your team of 4D International professionals.
•Prepare and conduct group and individual client meetings for purposes of presentation, training, and review, assume the appropriate role of co-leader, trainer, advisor, coach, or facilitator.
•Remain constantly abreast of all business activity within your assigned region.
•Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of your assigned region and your respective business-units. Provide advice, guidance, and counsel on new business development activities.
•Communicate on a daily and weekly basis with your team and your clients while you monitor the progress and results of each client engagement. Take immediate corrective action to bring any client engagement that is off schedule back to a favorable status.
•Co-ordinate all client activity with Business Support Services (BSS) to ensure that the most effective use is made of each client opportunity. Participate in the development of client strategies, client discovery activities, and additional assignments.
•Remain abreast of the trends within the consulting industry, innovations, competitive activity, new offering opportunities, and market standing.
•Conduct all scheduled formal client engagement reviews, which must happen at the pre-designated times throughout the client engagement.
•Complete all assigned 4D International team member appraisals in person using standard company documentation.

4D Regional Directors manage a cluster of client engagements in our various functional and industry practices, ensuring that the deliverables identified and sold to the client are not only achieved but also exceeded. They are also responsible for actively growing their book of business, while also developing their assigned team of 4D International professionals.
Each 4D Regional Director has bottom-line responsibilities for each of their client engagements and reports directly to a 4D Executive Director within their assigned region.
Responsibilities include:
•Develop and maintain a multi-level client business relationship that remains commercially viable and yields references, referrals, and additional client engagements or assignments.

(Note this is usually applicable in the large cap client engagements. The small to mid cap client engagements should provide the opportunity to coach and mentor the 4D Client Engagement Manager in these activities.)

4D Business Analysts take responsibility for a critical role in our firms’ success by serving as the group of individuals that are responsible for scoping and evaluating each of our client business engagements and discretely assist in problem solving in each client engagement. They play an important role in managing the client data crunching as they actively contribute to the engagement team's final client recommendations. They present their work and findings to senior client executives as part of the client discovery process (CDP) and actively work alongside their assigned directors to close the deal. 4D Business Analysts have a voice in determining the team's style and pace of work throughout the client engagement.
4D Business Analysts are responsible for actively growing their book of business, while also developing their assigned team of 4D International professionals. Each 4D Business Analyst reports directly to a 4D Regional Director within their assigned region.
Responsibilities include:
•Develop and maintain a multi-level client business relationship that remains commercially viable and yields references, referrals, and additional client engagements or assignments.
•Manage and direct the client discovery process (CDP), through the coaching and mentoring of 4D Client Engagement Managers and your team of 4D Professionals to deliver client engagement “go ahead” commitments on schedule and within the specified requirements for quality and service, including development of design specifications, selection of staff, provide guidance in the development of process and systems improvements, and co-ordination of 4D International internal or external specialist activities.
•Prepare and conduct group and individual client meetings for purposes of presentation, training, and review, assume the appropriate role of co-leader, trainer, advisor, coach, or facilitator throughout the client discovery process (CDP).
•Remain constantly abreast of all business activity within your assigned client base and source out all potential opportunities for additional assignments or more work.
•Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of your client’s industry. Provide advice, guidance, and counsel to sales & support services. Advise Business Support Services (BSS) on additional or up and coming needs and requirements.
•Communicate on a daily and weekly basis with each client engagement management team and our executive management while you monitor the progress and results of each assigned client engagement. Assist in taking corrective action should one of your client engagements fall off schedule.
•Co-ordinate all client activity with Business Support Services (BSS) to ensure that the most effective use is made of each client opportunity. Participate in the development of client strategies, client discovery activities, and additional assignments.

4D Client Engagement Managers own the client’s problems and the client engagement. They are the hub and center of the full client engagement team. They are responsible for determining how to bring the best of 4D International to the client. By working closely with clients, they maximize the impact of our work and lead the client through the dimensional change process. They also follow up our work on an ongoing basis to ensure sustained impact.
4D Client Engagement Managers are also responsible for actively growing their team’s book of business, while also developing their assigned team of 4D International professionals. Each 4D Client Engagement Manager has bottom-line responsibility for their assignment and reports directly to a 4D Regional Director.
Responsibilities include:
•Establish credible and enduring professional business relationships with 4D International clients and our own team of 4D International professionals.
•Ensure that the identified client engagement deliverables occur on time and are consistent with both client and 4D International business requirements for cost, schedule, and quality. Deliverables may include, but are not limited to, design or redesign of key business operating systems, client engagement management, key event schedules, task force team management, methods for improvement, process redesign, knowledge development activities, etc.
•Provide sufficient on-site training for each 4D International professional to ensure that the client engagement and client deliverables occur on time and above acceptable 4D International standards. Co-ordinate internal training using the approved 4D International course materials and follow-through to ensure the application of the training is correctly carried out.
•Participate in the business development activities, client engagement design specifications, transitions, and other named deliverables, to ensure the continuity and delivery of the agreed upon client benefits.
•Comply with all communication requirements from both a client and company perspective.
•Initiate areas of additional opportunity within the client organization or related businesses.
•Complete all assigned appraisals in person using standard company documentation.

They synthesize conclusions into recommendations and work directly with the client and senior 4D International leaders to implement the identified change and improvement deliverables. 4D Business Specialists have to develop an in-depth and functional knowledge of 4D International’s proprietary dimensional processes, transformational methodologies, and client focused solutions.
4D Business Specialists work as part of a client engagement team, on the client’s premises delivering all of the outputs that are identified to be a part of the client engagement. They ensure that engagement deliverables occur on time and exceed our client’s expectations. 4D Business Specialists are also responsible for actively growing their team’s book of business, while also mentoring less experienced 4D International team members. Each 4D Business Specialist has bottom-line responsibilities for the client engagement that they are assigned. This role reports directly to the 4D Client Engagement Manager.

Our 4D Sales & Support Services team targets companies with the objective of setting appointments at the top executive level. Position responsibilities include researching prospects, analyzing business performance, cold calling prospective clients, providing detailed and accurate information to assigned Sales Executive, maintaining and scheduling meeting calendars, and updating sales database information for an assigned territory.
4D Sales & Support Services works to actively identify and target sales opportunities, directly manage client relationships, and set client discovery process (CDP) initiatives. In conjunction with colleagues, generate more work form our existing clients through the development of long-term client relationships. 4D Sales & Support Services are also responsible for actively growing their team’s book of business, while also coaching, mentoring, and developing their assigned business unit team.
